Ever wondered why Everest is only 8,848m tall (20,029ft for those of you still stuck in the Imperial system) and not taller? Well, the clever guys at MinutePhysics have a spinoff called MinuteEarth where Harry Reich theorises about why mountain ranges on Earth are as tall as they are and not much taller.
